I enjoyed my stay at Eastover Estate, particularly the beautiful views of the Berkshire mountains. However, the overall experience was marred by a lack of staff support and disappointing accommodations. Despite my room being clean and nice, the absence of basic amenities made it feel less welcoming.

Rooms
5.0
My Standard Suite was nice but had some downsides, like the room being poorly maintained and not situated in the main house initially. Though we switched rooms, the musty smell and lack of amenities in the other rooms were disappointing.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking during my stay. There was only one staff member who was courteous but absent after check-in, leaving me feeling isolated.
Location
5.0
The location is lovely, away from the busy downtown area. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, which have a lot of potential.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited, with no breakfast service and only basic coffee in the registration room. It felt simple and could use more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were fairly basic, with no significant amenities or housekeeping after the first day. The outdoor space was nice but needed some cleaning.

My stay at Eastover Estate was quite an experience. The picturesque view of the Berkshire mountains was a highlight, yet the accommodations had some drawbacks. While the room was clean and I appreciated the friendly staff, the lack of basic amenities and limited dining options left something to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The 'Out of Mansion Double Room' offered a beautiful view of the mountains and was clean, though it lacked amenities and had a noisy air conditioning unit. I also found the decor sparse.
Service
5.0
While the lone staff member was courteous and responsive, the service overall felt limited due to the minimal staff presence, especially given that there was no housekeeping after the first day.
Location
5.0
The estate's location was fantastic, tucked away from the hustle of downtown, making it perfect for a peaceful retreat. I enjoyed easy access to nearby attractions like Tanglewood.
Dining
5.0
The food options were quite limited. Breakfast was simple, consisting mainly of coffee, tea, and homemade cake, which felt more like an afterthought than a proper meal.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were minimal and in disrepair – the indoor pool was covered up and outdoor areas seemed neglected, which diminished the overall experience.

My stay at Eastover Estate was a mix of beautiful surroundings and disappointing accommodations. While the hotel itself offers stunning views of the Berkshire mountains and is situated in a lovely area, the room I stayed in had a musty odor and lacked basic amenities. The staff was minimal and not always available, which detracted from the experience overall.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean but smelled musty and lacked amenities such as a television or phone. I was in the Out of Mansion King room, which was quite underwhelming compared to the beautiful hotel.
Service
5.0
The service was very minimal. Once I arrived, I had to call out for assistance for over thirty minutes before someone checked me in. Additionally, there was no staff present during my three-day stay, which made me feel abandoned.
Location
5.0
The location was great—it's away from the busy downtown area, but close enough to enjoy local restaurants and Tanglewood. The views of the Berkshire mountains were beautiful, making it a pleasant area to stay in.
Dining
5.0
There was no breakfast or dining provided, except for a hot water kettle and some instant coffee in the registration area. This lack of food options was disappointing, especially given the setting.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were minimal with no housekeeping after the first day and outdoor furniture that appeared dirty. There seemed to be little effort to maintain the hotel despite its potential.
